Why I Have Embraced Traditional Catholicism

I was NOT raised a Catholic, I knew nothing of Catholicism. Somehow though, I slowly made my way to Catholicism. I converted to the Novus Ordo Catholic Church and enjoyed it but noticed a lack of reverence. “If we REALLY believe that the Eucharist is Our Lord, why aren’t we kneeling or on our faces before Him. After all this is Him! And why are the women not wearing veils? Isn’t that what Our Lord wants?” I began to question and began to wear a veil no matter what other women did, and I kneeled.

But, when Covid hit, I noticed that Church closed meanwhile this “pope”  named Francis was running error after error, blasphemy and crisis.  I made my way to St. Pius V here on Long Island which  just so happens to be very closely located to our home.

It took me a year to catechize into this Church as it is VERY different, in fact a different Church than the “New Church.” I was baptized finally as a Catholic at this Church.

The real Church is really wonderful.  Here I have found young women becoming nuns, young men becoming priests.  Here I have found devout  children who respect the Eucharist  and the Sacraments.  Here is a school run by nuns which lovingly instructs the children and families.

St Pius V Society is a  “JOYFUL CHURCH.”

My husband who was raised a Catholic loves this Church as it stands for something, it stands for real faith and real action behind that faith.   Here I learn and learn.

Father Jenkins explains this all here.
