The lockdowns did a few good things. One was to prove to suspicious parents that their children are wasting time in garbage instruction, and the other was to prove to most parents that the reading instruction in their “stellar” schools lacked common sense.
Many parents complained that the teachers were not correcting grammar and spelling in writing assignments, while in reading, the teachers were teaching children to read by guessing.
