As I watch the young techies in the crypto space describe their work, passion and mission, I am taken back in American history to a time when the youth were bursting with change. The Hippy Generation.
I wonder if this same wide-eyed youthful hope and optimism is fueling the fire of these young technology wizards to create a fair and just market of exchange for the world.
Honestly, I love seeing these brilliant minds exude hopefulness and excitement as they describe the possibilities of a new and improved currency. Interestingly these programmers were probably geeks in high school. Unlike the Beatles or Rolling Stones, the revolutionaries of today are and were, most likely, shy introverts in their youth; yet here they stand, arm in arm proclaiming that they care, and they feel the pain of those who suffer from oppression. They have risen up and have found their cause and purpose in life and they are going at it like there’s no tomorrow! These techies are working night and day with algorithms and problem solving ideas to bring about change.
I find it heart warming that these often marginalized brilliant few are working so hard for this cause.
Of course not all of them are alturistic, obviously there are a greedy few, but the group, the Satoshi Round Table Group, that silent, hidden group, is serious.
They are not playing.
So, I hope we all take note and notice that the revolution has begun and whether you’re watching it or not, the revolution is moving at lightening speed.
